GitMind AI Flashcards help you turn learning materials into interactive flashcards for quick review and memorization. You can generate flashcards from a prompt, long text, or a file, customize the number and output language, edit the generated content, and review the cards in different themes.

Generate AI Flashcards

To create flashcards, click ‘GitMind AI’ at the top of the GitMind homepage and select ‘AI Flashcards’. You can choose from three ways to generate flashcards: Prompt, Long Text, or PDF/Doc.

Generate from a Prompt

Select ‘Prompt’ and enter the topic you want to study, such as World War II or global warming. Then select the output language and the number of flashcards you want to generate. Click ‘Generate flashcards’ to create your flashcards.

Generate from Long Text or Files

If you already have study materials, select ‘Long Text’ to paste a longer passage, or select ‘PDF/Doc’ to upload a supported file. Choose the output language and flashcard count, then click ‘Generate flashcards’. GitMind AI will extract key information from the provided content and turn it into flashcards for review.

Review and Edit Flashcards

After the flashcards are generated, each card displays a question first. Click the card to flip it and reveal the answer. Use the left and right arrows to move between flashcards.

If you want to modify the content of a flashcard, click the edit button on the card to edit its question or answer.

Switch Flashcard Themes

Click the theme button in the upper-right corner to open the Theme color panel. Select a theme color to change the appearance of your flashcards and choose a style that suits your preference.

View All Flashcards

Click ‘View all flashcards’ in the upper-right corner to see all generated flashcards at once. This makes it easier to browse the entire set and quickly switch to the card you want to review.

Share Flashcards

Click the share button in the upper-right corner to share your flashcards with others, making it convenient to study, review, or exchange learning materials with classmates and friends.

AI Flashcards are suitable for reviewing class notes, preparing for exams, learning new concepts, summarizing documents, and other study scenarios where key information needs to be memorized efficiently.
