Insert To-dos

GitMind allows you to add to-dos directly to mind map nodes, making it easier to turn ideas, plans, and project steps into actionable tasks. You can set a due date and priority level for each to-do, helping you organize tasks and keep track of important deadlines within your mind map.

Add a To-do to a Node

To add a to-do, select the node you want to turn into a task, then click the ‘To-do’ button in the top toolbar. The To-do settings panel will appear on the right side of the screen.

Set Due Date and Priority

In the To-do settings panel, choose a due date for the task and set its priority level to High, Medium, or Low. The due date and priority will then be displayed directly on the corresponding node, allowing you to quickly identify important tasks and deadlines.

Complete a To-do

Once you have finished a task, click the checkbox on the corresponding node to mark the to-do as completed. The node will automatically switch to the completed state, making it easy to track your progress directly from the mind map.

The To-do feature is especially useful for project planning, study schedules, work breakdown structures, personal task management, and other scenarios where ideas need to be converted into clear and manageable actions.
